Each Tuesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Covershot Studios, Enhanced Images will conduct a Photoshop Class especially designed for photographers.

• 1st Tuesday of each Month 7:00 - 9:00 PM- Photoshop Essentials – Setup, Work Space, Calibration, Image Acquisition, Image Sizing, Soft Proof, and Print Output. How to match your print output to your monitor image.
• 2nd Tuesday of each Month 7:00 - 9:00 PM - Global Toning – Toning, Black & White Point, Curves, Blend Modes, Controlling Shadow & Highlight detail, History, Burning & Dodging, RAW versus JPEG, Bridge & Camera RAW.
• 3rd Tuesday of each Month 7:00 to 9:00 PM Selections, Channels, Masks - Color Correction, Hue, Saturation, Color Balance, Local Toning, Selection, Channels & Masks, Miracle of Gaussian Blur.
• 4th Tuesday of each Month 7:00 to 9:00 PM Retouching – Clone, Healing, Patch, Soft Focus skin, Liposuction, and Sharpening.
• 5th Tuesday of each Month 7:00 to 9:00 PM Miscellaneous Topics, Questions/Answers – Here is an opportunity to get your Photoshop questions answered.

This class is aimed at a photographer just getting into digital photography or one with a little bit of Photoshop experience. This course would also be useful for a photographer who can’t afford to purchase Photoshop but has bought one of the less expensive packages such as Adobe Photoshop Elements. You should have knowledge of working with a computer and having a laptop would be helpful to bring to class.
The class will be taught using Adobe Photoshop CS2 until April when we will convert to Photoshop CS3. The material in the course however is generally useful for any Photoshop version above 5.5.

The class is conducted each Tuesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Advanced registration is required. At least two students must be pre-enrolled or the course will be cancelled.

You do not have to be a member of the studio to enroll in the classes.

INSTRUCTOR: KENT MESSAMORE

Kent Messamore has been working with Photoshop for over 15 years as a commercial business and hobbyist in photo retouching and restoration. He has taught computers and photo imaging extensively, initially for the Boston Computer Society and over the past several years for Camera Clubs in the local area. Kent’s images have won wide recognition in local camera club, New England, and International competition. Kent doesn’t just teach “what the tools do” but HE brings workflow experience into the classroom. His tips and shortcuts offer the photographer a rapid introduction into the digital world.
